Since 2003, Academy for the Performing Arts (APA) has been providing professional training in voice and theatre. Our studios in Maryland and New York are a training ground for artists studying all vocal genres including musical theater, opera, folk, jazz, pop, and public speaking. Founder/Director Ms. Kristin Halliday has trained singers for professional careers as well as for those whose pursuit of singing is personal. Her expertise in the use of the vocal and respiratory apparatus and the success of her students has distinguished the Academy for the Performing Arts as a leader in the field of vocal education since its inception.
